The great traveling street food festival from five continents
For a weekend, the Parco IV Novembre in Pordenone transforms into a large village of taste. International Street Food, organized by A.I.R.S. - Italian Street Food Restaurateurs Association led by Alfredo Orofino, is the largest traveling street food festival in Italy: a caravan of food trucks and kitchens that crosses the peninsula and brings the flavors of five continents to the squares.
The beauty of the festival is its variety: from Neapolitan pizza and Roman pasta to Puglian bombette, from Hungarian kurtos to Bavarian specialties, from American barbecue to Mexican cuisine, up to the Venezuelan Reina Pepiada (also in a gluten-free version). To complete the offer, a selection of Italian and international craft beers. All with particular attention to quality and food safety, values that A.I.R.S. promotes to give "dignity and recognition" to street food.
Admission is free and the atmosphere is that of great popular festivals: families, groups of friends, and curious people strolling among the stands, tasting, and sharing. A tried-and-tested format that has found a permanent home in Pordenone's spring calendar.
Scents mingling, background music, and the simple pleasure of eating outdoors: International Street Food is the perfect occasion for a delicious and informal weekend in Parco IV Novembre, the green heart of Pordenone.
