Antiques in the heart of Portogruaro
Every second Saturday of the month, the historic center of Portogruaro, in the Province of Venice, hosts the Antique and Modern Design Market. Along the streets and squares of the "little Venice" of Eastern Veneto, stalls of professional exhibitors and hobbyists display furniture, prints, ceramics, old books, records, and curiosities from every era.
Among loggias, arcades, and squares
The market winds through the charming city center, between Piazzetta del Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Martiri della Libertà , and the Liston, extending to Via Roma and Piazzetta della Pescheria. The stalls, generally open from morning to late afternoon, offer a pleasant walk under the shade of medieval arcades and along the banks of the Lemene river.
A tradition since 1998
Launched experimentally in 1998 thanks to the organization of the local Pro Loco and now managed directly by the Municipality of Portogruaro, the market has become a regular and beloved fixture in the city's calendar, attracting collectors and visitors from all over the region.
Antique Market — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Antique and Modern Design Market confirms its monthly frequency on the second Saturday in the historic center of Portogruaro. Between Piazzetta del Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Martiri della Libertà , and the other streets of the center, stalls offer vintage objects, curiosities, and small rarities.
Managed by the Municipality of Portogruaro, the market remains one of the most popular events in the city's calendar, with dates spread throughout the year.
