A culinary hike through the flavors of Val Concei, in Ledro
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Gourmet Walk (Marcia del Buongustaio) is one of the most anticipated summer events in Val Concei, the side valley that opens up in the municipality of Ledro, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Organized by the Pro Loco of Concei, the event transforms a peaceful stretch of the valley into a culinary trail, where the pleasure of hiking meets the joy of fine dining.
The walk follows the traditional route starting from the Ex Centrale area and winds through the valley's small villages, passing through hamlets such as Lenzumo, Locca, Enguiso, and Bondalera. Along the way, participants encounter seven tasting stops, designed to guide them from an aperitif to dessert, without rush and with plenty of time to enjoy the landscape.
The highlights remain the local culinary staples: caponec, canederli, and potato polenta, specialties that reflect the gastronomic identity of the Ledro Valley and Trentino. The walk is a perfect opportunity to rediscover local recipes and products in a convivial, open-air setting.
The Gourmet Walk is a limited-capacity event, with a maximum of approximately 400 participants and mandatory registration. This well-established format allows for the best management of the tasting stops while maintaining the intimate, family-friendly atmosphere that defines the event. Over the years, the walk has become a signature event for the Pro Loco of Concei, attracting families, hikers, and food enthusiasts alike.
Those who choose the Gourmet Walk combine outdoor activity along the trails of Val Concei with the pleasure of tasting Trentino flavors. It is a unique way to experience summer in Ledro: not just a static village festival, but a journey that leads you step by step, stop by stop, to discover the valley and its traditions.
The 2026 edition of the Gourmet Walk is expected, as per tradition, during the summer month of July in Val Concei, Ledro. At the moment, the official dates have not yet been communicated by the Pro Loco of Concei. The format is expected to confirm the food and wine trail with a start from the Ex Centrale area, tastings of traditional valley dishes, and mandatory limited-capacity registration.
