A summer festival on the Nebrodi coast

Food & Beer is the summer event that kicks off the season in Marina di Caronia, the coastal hamlet of the Municipality of Caronia, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in the province of Messina, at the foot of the Nebrodi Park. For three days, the Cristoforo Colombo seafront fills with stalls, aromas, and music, attracting residents and tourists to one of the most picturesque stretches of the Sicilian coast.

Beer, gastronomy, and local products

The heart of the event is the meeting between quality beer and Sicilian cuisine: food stalls, street food stations, and tastings offer the authentic flavors of the island, from traditional local dishes to Nebrodi specialties. A section is dedicated to zero-kilometer products: the Consorzio Mediterraneo, which brings together various agricultural companies in the area, showcases tropical fruits grown in Sicily, such as avocado, mango, and passion fruit, as well as artisanal jams, highlighting a new frontier of sustainable Sicilian agriculture rooted in the territory.

Music, dancing, and markets

The evenings are accompanied by live music, performances by Sicilian bands, brass bands, singers, and DJs, with folk dancing and entertainment for all ages. Along the seafront, there are craft markets, activities for children, and moments designed for socializing, making Food & Beer a festive appointment for the entire community.

An event for the village

Promoted by the Municipality of Caronia together with local associations and merchants, the event marks the return of a three-day celebration that brings life back to the seaside village after several years of absence. The administration presents it as an event aimed at the entire territory, capable of combining the promotion of food and wine excellence, entertainment, and social interaction in a unique setting between the sea and the Nebrodi mountains.
