The street food festival in the heart of Sant'Angelo di Brolo
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
SA Food - Street Food Festival is the celebration of street food in Sant'Angelo di Brolo, a town in the province of Messina nestled in the Nebrodi hills, in Sicily. Unlike the many summer festivals that enliven the village during the warmer months, SA Food brings a convivial gathering to the autumn season, when the evenings turn crisp but the desire to gather in the square remains strong.
The heart of the event is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, in the town's historic center, where food stalls are set up. Here, you can taste street food specialties ranging from traditional Sicilian recipes to more creative and contemporary offerings. It is the perfect opportunity to discover authentic flavors while strolling between the stalls with a sandwich, fried snacks, or a dessert in hand.
Taking part in SA Food is also a chance to get to know Sant'Angelo di Brolo, a Nebrodi village known for its many festivals dedicated to local products, from hazelnuts to handmade macaroni. The event is part of the town's lively tradition of public celebrations, where gastronomy becomes a pretext for meeting and community. A delicious stop for those who want to experience the authenticity of the small towns in the province of Messina.
The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced. The event has taken place in autumn in recent years: we recommend following the channels of the Municipality of Sant'Angelo di Brolo for the updated program.
