The festival dedicated to fiordilatte and typical Agerola products
Every summer, the Pianillo district of Agerola, in the province of Naples, transforms into a culinary capital for Fiordilatte Fiordifesta, a festival dedicated to the famous local fiordilatte and regional specialties. It is no coincidence that these mountains are called Monti Lattari (Milk Mountains); for centuries, a deep-rooted dairy tradition has defined the identity of this plateau suspended between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, where herds graze at over 600 meters and milk is transformed into fiordilatte, Provolone del Monaco, and other PDO delicacies.
Now in its 46th edition in 2026, the event is organized by the Sant'Antonio Abate Association in collaboration with the Sant'Antonio Festival Committee, with the patronage of the Municipality of Agerola, the Campania Region, and Slow Food. The festival is much more than a gastronomic event: it is a moment of identity where the entire Agerola community celebrates its rural and artisanal expertise, welcoming thousands of visitors from the coast and the Campania hinterland every year.
For four days, the Piazzale San Pietro Apostolo in Pianillo comes alive with food stalls where you can sample fiordilatte in all its forms, from traditional dishes to local desserts. The program alternates between tasting sessions and folk music performances, featuring town bands, folk groups, and evening concerts that draw a large, festive crowd. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
Fiordilatte Fiordifesta is one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the Campanian summer, successfully combining the promotion of dairy excellence with community festivities, conviviality, and the pride of a town that continues to share its heritage through food.
The 2026 edition of Fiordilatte Fiordifesta brings Agerola to life from August 1st to 4th with a program that weaves together gastronomy, music, and folk tradition in the Piazzale San Pietro Apostolo in Pianillo.
The event is organized by the Sant'Antonio Abate Association.
Agerola can be reached by car via the SS366 from the Amalfi Coast (Amalfi junction) or from Castellammare di Stabia. The Pianillo district is served by SITA buses connecting Agerola to Amalfi, Sorrento, and Castellammare di Stabia (nearest Circumvesuviana station). During the festival, we recommend arriving early to secure parking.
Access to the festival area is free; tastings at the food stalls are paid for directly at the stands.
Agerola offers numerous accommodations and farmhouses and is the starting point for the famous Path of the Gods: a perfect opportunity to combine the festival with a scenic hike on the Amalfi Coast.
