The Festival of Festivals is one of the most beloved culinary events in Casentino, the greenest corner of the Arezzo province in Tuscany. The idea behind it is as simple as it is brilliant: instead of traveling from town to town all summer long in search of the valley's best food festivals, this event gathers the signature dishes of the Casentino celebrations into a single weekend, prepared by the very same local associations and Pro Loco groups that serve them throughout the year. The medieval historic center of Bibbiena thus transforms into a sprawling, open-air restaurant.

A multi-stage journey through the alleys of Bibbiena

A single ticket provides access to a tasting itinerary spread across various thematic stages tucked away in the alleys, courtyards, and squares of the village. Each station is dedicated to a specific Casentino town and its traditional dish: from Corezzo's tortello alla lastra to gnocchi with meat sauce, from baldino (chestnut flour cake) to maccheroni with goose sauce, and from Arista all'aretina (roast pork) to truffle roast beef, finishing on a sweet note with grape schiacciata. Water and wine are available at every stand, while Italian craft beers can be found along the route.

The Festival of Festivals is a true community celebration. Along the route, you will find live music and DJ sets, craft markets, a photography exhibition, and a children's play area.
