Spring in the Ladin language

"Ansuda" means spring in the ancient Ladin dialect of Val del Biois: El bon de l'Ansuda is therefore, literally, "the beauty of spring". In Falcade, at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site, this festival celebrates the awakening of mountain nature with a programme that combines excursions, gastronomy, and educational experiences.

Wild herbs and mountain cuisine

The absolute stars are the wild herbs that colour the meadows after winter. The events feature geological trails with experts, educational tours to discover the local flora, visits to the Rock Garden Centre, and cooking classes dedicated to mountain herbs, as well as workshops on candles and essential oils. Aperitifs and tastings of typical cuisine complete the sensory experience.

A festival for families

Plenty of space is reserved for the little ones, with donkey rides, creative workshops, the cutest dog contest judged by a jury of children, and meeting Merino, the guardian of the forest. An opportunity to experience the mountains in a slow, authentic, and family-friendly way.

In the heart of Val del Biois

Organised by the Associazione Val Biois (Val Biois Association), the event takes place in Falcade, in the province of Belluno, and represents one of the first appointments of the Agordo summer season. An invitation to discover a territory where Ladin culture and Dolomite nature merge.
