About HERO Dolomites
A Challenge Among the Dolomite Peaks
HERO Dolomites is considered one of the most demanding mountain bike granfondos in the world. The race unfolds on the Sellaronda circuit, passing through Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, and Fodom, and also crosses Arabba, a hamlet of the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana in the province of Belluno, a key point for competitors' passage.
Three Routes for Every Biker
The event offers three distances, designed for athletes of different levels but always with a high technical standard:
- 86 km — the long route, the toughest challenge
- 71 km — the intermediate distance
- 60 km — the shortest route, still selective
The routes feature climbs and single tracks amidst some of the most spectacular scenery of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

HERO Dolomites is a carbon-neutral certified event, mindful of its environmental impact and capable of combining a great sporting challenge with respect for the fragile Dolomite ecosystem. For the territory of Arabba and Livinallongo del Col di Lana, it represents one of the most anticipated sporting days of the summer.
HERO Dolomites — edition 2026
HERO Dolomites 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 13. Bikers will tackle the three 60, 71, and 86 km routes on the Sellaronda circuit, with the passage through Arabba (Livinallongo del Col di Lana) being one of the most anticipated moments of the race. The event reaffirms its carbon-neutral certification. Registrations are open on the datasport platform, with an early bird discount in the first few months.

How to Get There
Arabba can be reached from the SS244 of Val Badia and the SS48 of the Dolomites. From the south, take the A27 Belluno exit and the SS203 Agordina; from the north, from Brunico via Corvara and Passo Campolongo.
