The antique market in the medieval village of Avigliana
The Easter Monday Antique and Collectibles Fair is one of the most anticipated spring events in Avigliana, located in the Province of Turin, Piedmont. Every Easter Monday, the historic Piazza Conte Rosso, the hub of the medieval village, transforms into a large open-air market where antique dealers, collectors, and curious visitors gather. Reaching its 22nd edition in 2026, the event is organized by the Pro Loco Avigliana with the patronage of the Municipality and has become a staple of the Susa Valley's Easter calendar.
The fair is a true paradise for lovers of the past. Among the exhibitors, you can discover period furniture, antique books, vintage clothing, decorative objects, prints, ceramics, and small treasures of ancient craftsmanship. The goal of the event is to offer the public authentic, high-quality items that are rich in history while remaining accessible: a meeting point for sellers and those who love to collect.
What makes the Easter Monday Antique Fair special is its setting: Piazza Conte Rosso and the streets of the old village of Avigliana, with their porticoes, historic houses, and the intimate atmosphere of the medieval center, provide the perfect backdrop for hunting for rare pieces. The day is enriched by the opening of historic churches, musical moments in the courtyards, and opportunities to taste local products in the village's cafes and restaurants, in a festive atmosphere that involves the entire community.
Strolling through the stalls on Easter Monday is the perfect way to spend the day outdoors, combining a passion for antiques with a trip to the natural surroundings of Avigliana, the city of lakes overlooking the Natural Park. The event, which has free admission, attracts visitors from Turin and all over Piedmont every year, confirming itself as a tradition that enhances the historical heritage and commercial fabric of the town.
