DegustaTorbole: a dinner on the Gulf of Garda Trentino

DegustaTorbole is the gourmet event that brings the dining table directly to the Conca d'Oro lakefront, on the shores of the ancient fishing village of Torbole, in the municipality of Nago-Torbole, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). The event was born as a collective open-air dinner, designed to bring residents and visitors together at a long table overlooking the waters of Lake Garda, surrounded by the silence of the mountains and caressed by the lake breeze.

The concept: flavors, territory, and emotions

DegustaTorbole is part of a collective project that also includes its twin event, DegustaNago, dedicated to the main town of Nago. The idea is to tell the story of the territory's identity through food: the absolute star is the freshwater fish of Lake Garda, an authentic tribute to the history and tradition of Torbole, a village that lived on fishing for centuries. Each course is carefully paired with selected local wines, while background music accompanies the evening.

The luminous finale on the lake

The most anticipated moment is the "luminous" surprise that closes the dinner: instead of traditional fireworks, the gulf lights up with a hundred meters of water jets animated by light and color effects that reflect on the surface of the lake. A choice described by the organizers as innovative, sustainable, and emotionally engaging, perfectly in harmony with the natural environment of Garda Trentino.

Who organizes the event

DegustaTorbole is promoted by the CENTO – Nago-Torbole Merchants Consortium in collaboration with the municipal administration of Nago-Torbole and with the involvement of local associations and volunteers, who assist the catering service in preparation and table service. Participation is by reservation only, with limited seating (around five hundred covers), reflecting the intimate and curated nature of the event.
