Dambelfest, the spring gathering of Val di Non

Dambelfest is one of the most beloved spring festivals in the Val di Non. It takes place in the green area of Dambel, a small municipality in the Province of Trento nestled among the orchards and woods of the upper valley in Trentino-Alto Adige. Every year, the festival attracts many young people and local families, creating an atmosphere of joy and conviviality that has become its signature.

A festival born from the village youth

The event began in the early 2000s as a casual get-together for a group of local friends from Dambel. Over the years, Dambelfest has grown steadily, increasing its attendance with each edition and becoming a point of reference for the entire area. Today, it is organized by the Pro Loco Dambel, which manages the venue setup, musical programming, and catering services.

Music, DJ sets, and great food

The Dambelfest program revolves around live music and DJ sets, with parties lasting until late at night. There is always a sunset aperitif, accompanied by a continuous service of hot food and drinks throughout the festival. Among the most traditional culinary offerings, local Trentino dishes stand out, such as polenta with sausage. Admission is free, and the festival usually takes place even in case of bad weather, thanks to covered structures.

Dambel and the Val di Non

Hosting Dambelfest is an opportunity for Dambel to showcase its territory: a peaceful corner of the Val di Non defined by nature, apple orchards, and traditions. The Pro Loco Dambel enlivens the village throughout the year with numerous initiatives, from theater comedy festivals to cooking classes, but the spring festival remains the most awaited event by the community.
