The Courmayeur Food Market is the market of agricultural producers that enlivens the Jardin de l'Ange, in the centre of Courmayeur, at the foot of Mont Blanc. An event designed to promote short supply chains and the authentic flavours of the Aosta Valley: the stalls are managed directly by the producers, who offer zero-kilometre, organic, and Protected Designation of Origin products.

Authentic mountain flavours

Among the stalls, you'll find typical Aosta Valley products: mocetta, cured meats and sausages, coppa, boudin, and the famous lard, brined with Aosta Valley herbs for one hundred days. Alongside the veterans of tradition, the market also makes space for young people who have returned to the land and the knowledge of previous generations of Aosta Valley farmers and breeders, in a living narrative of mountain agriculture.

A weekly event (with special editions)

During the summer season, the Food Market is held every Tuesday morning, becoming a ritual for residents and tourists. There are also special editions on the key days of Courmayeur's summer and autumn, when the market is enriched with new offerings and producers. For the visitor, it is the best way to discover - and take home - the genuine flavours of the most renowned Aosta Valley resort.
