The AgriRock festival of music, literature, and culture in the heart of the Langhe
Collisioni is one of the most original festivals on the Italian scene: created to bring together great music with literature, culture, and the agriculture of a unique territory, the Langhe, home to Barolo and white truffles. After its first editions in Barolo, the festival found its home in Alba, in the province of Cuneo, where every summer it transforms Piazza Medford into a large open-air stage.
The "AgriRock" formula perfectly captures the spirit of Collisioni: on one hand, concerts by Italian and international artists, and on the other, meetings with writers, intellectuals, and television and film personalities, all immersed in the scents and flavors of an excellent agricultural territory. It is a festival to be experienced day and night, between wine tastings, book presentations, and major evening shows.
What makes Collisioni special is its ability to bring together diverse audiences: young people arriving for names from the urban and indie scene, fans of rock and singer-songwriters, and readers following the literary guests. Over the years, the festival has brought some of the biggest names in world music to Alba, alternating them with evenings dedicated to the Italian emerging scene and new voices in rap and trap.
Collisioni is also an opportunity to discover Alba and the Langhe territory, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its wine landscapes. Between concerts, the public can experience the Youth Project (the volunteers who bring the festival to life), participate in tasting tours, and enjoy cultural initiatives spread throughout the city and its surroundings, from the Castle of Barolo to Tanaro Park. A formula that makes Collisioni not just a music festival, but a journey into the culture and food and wine of Piedmont.
The 18th edition of the Collisioni Festival confirms the AgriRock formula that made the Alba event famous: major concerts in Piazza Medford alternating with cultural meetings and the food and wine of the Langhe. The 2026 program features three high-profile evenings, capable of reaching diverse audiences, from international rock to Italian indie and the urban and trap scene. As per tradition, alongside the evening live shows, the festival's activities spread throughout the territory of Alba and the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo.
Further musical guests, literary meetings, and cultural appointments will be announced on the festival's official channels in the weeks prior.
