Cinema in the Park is the summer open-air cinema event held in Salmour, a town in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont. The screening takes place in Parco Crova, the town's green space overlooking the stream, which transforms into a community living room during the summer—a perfect spot for picnics, relaxation, and, for this special evening, a big screen under the stars.

An event designed for families

The initiative was born with a clear family-oriented spirit. The evening is presented as a family show: the titles selected over the years favor animated films and stories that resonate with all ages, allowing parents and children to share the same emotions on screen. The format is the most genuine version of a village summer arena: arrive at the park at dusk, sit on the grass or on the provided chairs, and let yourself be carried away by the film.

A tradition that returns every year

Open-air cinema has become a classic of the Salmour summer: the municipal administration has repeatedly highlighted its popularity, ensuring its return season after season. The organization is a collaboration between the Municipality of Salmour, the Pro Loco, and experts in outdoor screenings like the cultural association Cinedehors, which has been bringing cinema to the squares and parks of the Cuneo area for years. In previous editions, the evening was also accompanied by a bar service, turning the screening into a true social gathering for the whole town.
