In Piazza Matteotti, the ice skating rink comes to life, while along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the little ones can visit Santa's House. There is no shortage of entertainment for children: baby dance, face painting, soap bubbles, and balloons.
Nativity art and tradition
Among the most popular events is the International Nativity Scene Art Exhibition, set up in the Cathedral Crypt and open until January 6th. "Christmas in the City" thus combines tradition, culture, and fun, offering residents and visitors an experience that enhances the charm of Città di Castello's historic centre.

The "Christmas in the City" programme will return to animate Città di Castello in December 2026, extending until Epiphany. As tradition dictates, the Christmas Village with markets for local products and crafts is expected in Piazza delle Tabacchine, the ice skating rink in Piazza Matteotti, Santa's House along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and entertainment for the little ones (baby dance, face painting, soap bubbles, balloons).
