The highest Celtic music, art, and culture festival in Europe, in the woods at the foot of Mont Blanc
Celtica Valle d'Aosta is the highest Celtic music, art, and culture festival in Europe. It takes place in the Bosco del Peuterey, in Val Veny, in the municipality of Courmayeur, where the larch forest at the foot of Mont Blanc becomes the natural setting for a unique event.
The festival offers concerts of Celtic music with international artists, historical reenactments, dance workshops, conferences, labs, children's areas, and craft markets. To complete the experience, there are tastings of local products and nature walks along the valley's trails. The atmosphere, immersed in the woods and accompanied by music, is the true heart of the event.
Alongside the heart of the festival in Bosco del Peuterey, Celtica organizes widespread collateral events throughout the region: concerts, musical entertainment, and gastronomic events also involve Courmayeur, Aosta, and other municipalities and historic centers in Valle d'Aosta.
Born in the 1990s, Celtica has become one of the most anticipated events of the Aosta Valley summer and an international reference point for the Celtic world. The Valle d'Aosta Region promotes it as a major event, capable of uniting culture, nature, and tourism in an alpine setting of rare beauty.
The 2026 edition of Celtica Valle d'Aosta celebrates the 30th anniversary of the festival and takes place from July 2 to 5 in the Bosco del Peuterey, Val Veny, in the municipality of Courmayeur. Four days immersed in the Celtic atmosphere, with international artists, concerts, historical reenactments, dance workshops, conferences, cultural activities, and initiatives for all ages.
As tradition dictates, alongside the festival's core in Val Veny, widespread collateral events are planned throughout the region, involving municipalities and historic centers of Valle d'Aosta. Discounted advance tickets have been available since April 15, 2026.
The detailed program for the 30th edition, including the complete list of artists, concerts, workshops, and conferences, will be published and updated on the official website celtica.vda.it in the weeks preceding the event.
