A high-altitude concert in the meadows of Tsan Reclou, accessible only on foot
Musicastelle Outdoor is the summer festival that brings concerts by great Italian artists to high altitudes, in places accessible exclusively on foot. In Etroubles, a municipality in the upper Gran San Bernardo valley in the Province of Aosta, the event takes place in Tsan Reclou, at an altitude of 1,450 meters, where the audience arrives after a walk of about 40 minutes (2 km, +200 meters in elevation).
On June 27, 2026, the Tsan Reclou stage will host The Zen Circus, a historic Tuscan band that, with raw energy and a disenchanted outlook, tells stories of reality with irony and depth, blending rock and singer-songwriter styles. The concert begins at 3:00 PM.
Organized by the Office régional du tourisme, Musicastelle Outdoor will reach its 15th edition in 2026 and comprises several dates spread between June and October in various locations across the Aosta Valley. Each concert is designed to highlight a corner of the mountains, combining the experience of hiking with live performance. Admission is free with prior reservation.
The philosophy of the festival is simple: you have to walk to get to the concert. This transforms each event into a small adventure through meadows and woods, with the benefit of an intimate audience and a natural setting impossible to replicate in the city. Organizers encourage carpooling and sustainable mobility to reach the venues.
