Four world disciplines in a single stage, at the foot of Mont Blanc
The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series transforms La Thuile, in the province of Aosta, into one of the most anticipated events on the global mountain biking calendar. The Aosta Valley location is the only stage in the world to host four World Cup disciplines simultaneously: Enduro, Downhill, Olympic Cross Country (XCO), and Short Track (XCC).
Among the most spectacular moments is NightFall, the nocturnal Enduro special stage that illuminates the mountainside with lights, tension, and speed, creating a visually impactful atmosphere. A unique format that attracts enthusiasts and spectators from all over the world.
The event is designed as a large, compact hub: paddock, race area, village, and trails are concentrated within a short distance, accessible on foot and via ski lifts. La Thuile boasts over 170 km of mapped trails, from the 2,600 meters of Belvedere down to the town center, featuring an international-level downhill course, technical sections through larch forests, and panoramic views of Mont Blanc and the Rutor glacier. An international showcase for outdoor tourism in the Aosta Valley.
The 2026 edition brings a stage of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series to La Thuile from July 3rd to 5th, marking the first Italian stop on the world circuit. The Aosta Valley location is the only one globally to gather four World Cup disciplines in a single weekend: Enduro, Downhill, Olympic Cross Country, and Short Track. The most anticipated moment is the NightFall by CVA, the nocturnal Enduro special stage scheduled for Saturday, July 4th, while Sunday, July 5th, is the XCO day. The resort's trails open to the public from July 6th.
La Thuile is the only stage in the world with four UCI disciplines simultaneously. Detailed program, schedules, and tickets available on the official website lathuile.it.
La Thuile is reachable by car from the A5 motorway (Morgex exit), then follow the SS26 towards the Little Saint Bernard Pass. Nearest train station: Pré-Saint-Didier; shuttle bus service available during high season.
Information on tickets and access to race areas is available on the official website. Trails open to the public from July 6th. Technical clothing is recommended, and pay attention to safety instructions along the routes.
