Promoted by the Region, the festival combines music with the mountain experience, with concerts often held at sunset, in settings of great natural beauty. In 2026, the festival celebrates its fifteenth anniversary.

Mario Biondi's concert on the Vetan plateau

In Saint-Pierre, in the province of Aosta, the festival chooses the Vetan plateau, a natural balcony overlooking the central valley, for the opening concert of the 2026 season. The star is Mario Biondi, one of the most renowned Italian soul voices in the world, who brings the twentieth anniversary of the song that consecrated him internationally to his tour. The concert is held at sunset, when the light on the mountains creates a unique atmosphere, transforming the listening experience into something beyond a mere musical performance.

An experience to be lived at altitude

The Vetan plateau is one of the most accessible locations in the Musicastelle program: the stage is reached by a short 10-15 minute walk from the car parks, accessible to a wide audience. Admission is free with mandatory reservation, given the limited capacity of the natural venues. Musicastelle Outdoor has become an iconic event of the Aosta Valley summer, capable of enhancing the territory and its landscapes through live music.
