In Saint-Pierre, in the province of Aosta, the festival chooses the Vetan plateau, a natural balcony overlooking the central valley, for the opening concert of the 2026 season. The star is Mario Biondi, one of the most renowned soul voices in Italy with international acclaim, who brings the twentieth anniversary of the song that launched him internationally to his tour. The concert takes place at sunset, when the light on the mountains creates a unique atmosphere, transforming the listening experience into something beyond just a musical performance.

The Vetan plateau is one of the most accessible locations in the Musicastelle program: the stage can be reached with a short 10-15 minute walk from the parking lots, making it accessible to a wide audience. Admission is free with mandatory reservation, given the limited capacity of the natural venues. Musicastelle Outdoor has become an iconic event of the Aosta Valley summer, successfully showcasing the region and its landscapes through live music.
