A yellow walk for endometriosis

CamminEndo is the initiative promoted by the volunteer association EndoElba ODV to shine a spotlight on endometriosis, a frequently underestimated chronic disease that affects about one in ten women. It is not just a simple walk, but a collective journey that combines information, sharing, and the promotion of the Island of Elba's territory. The common thread is the color yellow, the symbol of the fight against this condition: participants are invited to wear the association's yellow t-shirt, turning every step into a gesture of awareness.

The 2026 edition in Capoliveri

In 2026, the third edition of the event stops in Capoliveri, one of the most charming villages on the Island of Elba, in the Province of Livorno (Tuscany). The choice is not accidental: Capoliveri is among the Elban municipalities that have joined the awareness campaign by installing a yellow bench, a symbol of the fight against endometriosis. The meeting point is set for 6:30 PM at the EndoPank of Capoliveri, in front of the Teatro Flamingo. The walk, led by Monica Benedetti, guides participants to discover the village and its curiosities, along a route suitable for all ages.

Program and atmosphere

• Meeting point: 6:30 PM, EndoPank of Capoliveri, in front of the Teatro Flamingo.
• Walk: guided stroll to discover the village and the local area.
• Final aperitif: at the end, a convivial moment at the Bar Carpe Diem.

The invitation is extended to all citizens and visitors: every participant helps to give greater visibility to a condition that is still too little known.

A traveling event on the Island of Elba

CamminEndo does not have a fixed location: every year, the EndoElba association chooses a different municipality in the archipelago. After the first editions, which also touched Marciana Marina, 2026 is the turn of Capoliveri. This traveling formula allows the awareness message to be brought across the entire island, involving local communities, administrations, and local businesses.

Who organizes it

The event is promoted by EndoElba ODV, a volunteer association on the Island of Elba dedicated to information and awareness about endometriosis, which organizes events, meetings, and offers support to people affected by this condition. The association's headquarters are located in Portoferraio.
