Calici di Stelle is one of the most popular and cherished summer events in Aldeno, a small town in the province of Trento nestled in the Vallagarina valley, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. In the heart of the village, Piazza Cesare Battisti turns into a welcoming open-air lounge where wine, fine food, and stargazing blend into a unique experience.

The star of the show: Wine

The event focuses on wines from the Trento DOC denomination and local labels: from Marzemino to Merlot, from Müller Thurgau to Moscato Giallo, and the San Zeno, the signature red of the Cantina di Aldeno. Tastings are coordinated by professional sommeliers who guide guests through the perfect pairings between the wines and traditional Trentino dishes.

Gastronomy and music

The wines are accompanied by local gastronomic specialties prepared by volunteers from local associations. Live musicians turn the square into an evocative open-air piano-bar, creating the intimate and convivial atmosphere that defines the evening.

Staying true to the national spirit of the event, which is linked to the Night of San Lorenzo and the Perseid meteor shower, Calici di Stelle in Aldeno also offers the opportunity to observe the starry sky through telescopes, in collaboration with the Rovereto Astronomical Association, located on Via Fabio Filzi next to the square.

A community event

The event is promoted by the Pro Loco Aldeno together with the municipal administration and the National Association of Wine Cities, with the support of numerous local associations. It is an authentic opportunity to discover the world of Trentino wine and gastronomy in an informal, well-curated setting that attracts visitors from Aldeno and neighboring towns in the province of Trento every year.
