Borgo Rock has become a staple of the Gargano summer: an evening entirely dedicated to live rock and high-energy sounds that, edition after edition, has made this event a landmark for genre enthusiasts across the Capitanata region. The festival takes place in Borgo Celano, a village of San Marco in Lamis, in the province of Foggia, specifically in the evocative Piazza degli Artisti, which turns into an open-air stage for one night.

Much more than a concert

Borgo Rock is about more than just music. It is a true celebration of independent creativity, where the stage is complemented by live art, artistic tattoo sessions, indie crafts, vinyl records, and numerous other creative expressions. Around the square, you will find street food and craft beer to keep the crowd going from the first performances until late at night. This mix of genres and styles gives the festival its unique identity: a free, raw, and authentic atmosphere, far removed from the logic of large commercial events.

A free-entry festival

One of the hallmarks of Borgo Rock is its grassroots nature, open to everyone: admission is free. The event is part of the wider summer program E.STATE a Borgo Celano, promoted by the Pro Loco Borgo Celano 2.0 with the patronage of the Municipality of San Marco in Lamis, which brings the village to life throughout the summer with musical events, excursions, talent shows, and gatherings.

The setting: San Marco in Lamis and the Gargano

San Marco in Lamis is one of the main hubs of the Gargano, nestled between the forests of the National Park and the spirituality of the Gargano sanctuaries. Borgo Celano, its village, is a small hamlet that becomes a meeting place for musicians, artists, and fans from all over Puglia on summer evenings. Attending Borgo Rock means discovering a less touristy and more genuine side of the Gargano, where the local music scene and emerging Apulian bands find a space to express themselves.

The 2026 edition

The eleventh edition of Borgo Rock is confirmed for Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 8:30 PM in Piazza degli Artisti. The detailed program featuring the evening's bands will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event.
