At the Court of King Fosco is dedicated to it, the event that transforms the municipality into a large, spread-out winery every April.

Open cellars and tastings

The heart of the event is the open cellars: for an entire weekend, local producers welcome visitors from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, offering the chance to taste Refosco di Faedis and other labels from the Colli Orientali del Friuli. A precious opportunity to get to know the winemakers up close, discover different interpretations of the grape variety, and stroll through the vineyards in the most picturesque season of the year.

When wine meets cuisine

At the Court of King Fosco is not just about tasting: restaurants, farmhouses, and trattorias in the area participate with menus and dishes designed to enhance pairings with Refosco, from game to cheeses, from cured meats to traditional Friulian desserts. This creates a complete food and wine experience, inviting visitors to experience Faedis in all its flavorful nuances.

Organized by Pro Loco Faedis together with the Refosco producers' association, the event is much more than a local festival: it's a way to tell the wine identity of this corner of the Colli Orientali, to enhance the work of the winemakers, and to attract enthusiasts to the land of Castles.
