The great international haute cuisine festival
For a few days in October, the historic center of Udine transforms into a stage of flavors, aromas, and excellent encounters. Ein Prosit is now one of the most interesting haute cuisine festivals in the world: an event that attracts Michelin-starred chefs, producers, journalists, and enthusiasts from every continent.
The highlight of the event are "Le Cene" (The Dinners): exclusive events where Michelin-starred and internationally renowned chefs create original menus, true masterpieces designed to enhance the best local raw materials and pair harmoniously with the great wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia and beyond.
Around "Le Cene" revolves a rich program that fills the city center: tastings, flavor workshops, food trucks, gourmet encounters, and wine and regional product tasting exhibitions. A formula that combines high-end dining with popular conviviality, making enogastronomic excellence accessible to all.
Born in the early 2000s in the mountains of Tarvisiano, Ein Prosit has found its home in the heart of Udine in recent years, where the event has experienced extraordinary growth, attracting tens of thousands of visitors. An event that showcases Friuli Venezia Giulia as a land of flavors, wines, and hospitality.
Ein Prosit returns in 2026 with its 27th edition, confirming Udine as the international capital of haute cuisine. The festival takes place in the historic city center in October, with a succession of "events within the event": "Le Cene" by Michelin-starred and world-renowned chefs, tastings, flavor workshops, food trucks, and gourmet encounters.
The indicated dates (October 14-18, 2026) are subject to official confirmation: the festival traditionally takes place in the second half of October. The complete program will be published on the official website in the weeks preceding the event.
The detailed program for the 27th edition will be announced in the coming weeks on the official website einprosit.org.
The events take place in the historic center of Udine, easily accessible on foot; the train station is a few minutes from the center.
The Dinners, tastings, and workshops are ticketed and require booking; many events throughout the city are free to enter. Program and advance tickets at einprosit.org.
Udine offers numerous facilities in the center and surrounding areas; advance booking is recommended during the festival days.
