The Zapponeta Blue Flag Festival is the annual event where the Municipality of Zapponeta, located on the Adriatic coast of the Province of Foggia, Puglia, celebrates the renewal of its Blue Flag status. This international recognition is awarded by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) to seaside resorts that excel in water quality, environmental management, safety, and services offered to bathers.

The institutional part is always followed by a social gathering with a sweet and savory buffet open to the public and the traditional cake-cutting, before a live concert enlivens the square and officially kicks off the summer season.
