YARD! — The Reggae Party is the new summer music project that, starting in 2026, turns the Sunset Beach Club beach in Scerne di Pineto (Pineto, Teramo province) into an open-air dancehall. Conceived and curated by the Primavolta organization, the event is entirely dedicated to reggae and dancehall culture, aiming to bring the 'off-beat' rhythms and the authentic sound system tradition back to the heart of the Abruzzo music scene.

A weekly seaside appointment

YARD! is not just a one-off night but a full summer calendar: the idea is to create a recurring weekly event that accompanies the entire beach season along the Teramo coast. Music, sea, social interaction, and conviviality merge in an informal, open-air setting where guests can dance barefoot in the sand until late. The project highlights the most authentic side of reggae—the sound system culture—bringing a format to Abruzzo that combines live musical selection, Jamaican culture, and beach vibes.

The 2026 inaugural edition

The first edition of YARD! kicks off on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 8:00 PM. Opening the season is Brusco, one of the most representative voices of Italian reggae, performing tracks from his career alongside new releases. Completing the night—and steering the decks for all the dates of the format—is Rasta Uno Sound, the project's resident DJ, with a selection crafted to keep the crowd dancing through reggae, dancehall, and beach vibes.

Reggae and dancehall in Abruzzo

With YARD!, Primavolta consolidates its dedication to reggae music, already expressed over the years with the Primavolta Festival, and brings it directly to the coastline. Choosing the Sunset Beach Club, which has become a landmark for summer nightlife in Scerne di Pineto, allows for a perfect blend of musical programming and the Abruzzo seaside lifestyle, offering residents and tourists another reason to enjoy summer evenings by the sea.

A project for the local area

The initiative is part of the rich summer event calendar of the Municipality of Pineto and helps enliven the Scerne district, promoting the local area and boosting musical tourism along the coast of the Province of Teramo, in Abruzzo.
