The Wild Garlic Festival of Fontainemore, a municipality in the Lys Valley in the Province of Aosta, celebrates the spring return of wild garlic, a spontaneous plant that carpets the undergrowth each year with its green leaves and fragrant white flowers. The event takes place at the Visitor Centre of the Mont Mars Nature Reserve, a protected area that holds a botanical and natural heritage of great value.

How to Get There
Fontainemore is located in the Lys Valley, reachable from the A5 motorway (Pont-Saint-Martin exit), by driving up the valley towards Gressoney. The events are held at the Visitor Centre of the Mont Mars Nature Reserve.
