About Villexpo

Villexpo is the major summer festival in Villanova Canavese, located in the Canavese area near Turin. For ten days, the Due Laghetti Urban Park comes alive with traditional ballroom orchestras, tribute bands, a funfair, street food, craft markets, and the famous Gran Agnolottata di San Massimo. This free-entry community event, organized by the local Pro Loco, concludes each year with a spectacular pyromusical show over the lake. Tradition, great food, and music under the stars for the whole family.

Villexpo, the heart of summer in Villanova Canavese

Villexpo is the most anticipated festival in Villanova Canavese, a small town in the lower Canavese region of the Province of Turin, Piedmont. For ten days, the Due Laghetti Urban Park, a green oasis just a short walk from the town center, transforms into the stage for a grand community celebration featuring music, dancing, gastronomy, and fun for all ages. Now in its 33rd edition in 2026, the event is carefully organized by the Pro Loco of Villanova Canavese with the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Turin.

A festival for everyone, from ballroom to tribute bands

The musical program is the true engine of Villexpo. Every evening, two stages bring the park to life: on one side, the great traditional ballroom orchestras of Piedmont keep the most loyal fans dancing, while on the other, a youth zone hosts tributes to legendary bands, disco nights, DJ sets, and 90s-themed parties. It is a formula that bridges generations and fills the dance floors under the stars every night.

Local flavors

Cuisine is one of the souls of Villexpo: the lakeside restaurant opens every evening at 7:30 PM with specialties and typical dishes from the Canavese region. The most awaited culinary highlight is the Gran Agnolottata di San Massimo, dedicated to the famous Piedmontese agnolotto pasta, alongside charity lunches that combine fine dining with social commitment.

Funfair, markets, and activities

  • Funfair open every evening with extended hours on weekends
  • Street food and craft and hobby market
  • Entertainment and shows for children, from puppet theater to baby dance
  • Free health screening initiatives, pet therapy, and charity events
  • Car meets, running races, and historical exhibitions

The grand pyromusical finale

The festival concludes on a high note with the pyromusical show over the lake, one of the most beloved moments: fireworks reflect in the waters of the Due Laghetti accompanied by music, creating a collective emotion that draws visitors from all over the Canavese and the Turin area. Admission to Villexpo is completely free, reflecting the welcoming and community-driven spirit of this event.
