Vespelacrist: Vespas parade through the Alta Langa

Vespelacrist is the Alta Langa Vespa rally that brings dozens of iconic Piaggio scooters to the hills of the Cuneo province for a Sunday dedicated to vintage two-wheelers and local exploration. The event is centered in Cortemilia, in the province of Cuneo (Piedmont), but also includes the nearby village of Feisoglio, where the traditional aperitif stop takes place.

A rally through the Langhe hills

Born from the initiative of a group of enthusiasts, the event has grown year after year to become a small tradition of the Langhe summer. Polished and ready for the occasion, the Vespas traverse the scenic roads connecting the villages of the Alta Langa, winding through hazelnut groves, vineyards, and valley vistas. It is a unique opportunity to admire both historic and modern models of Italy's most beloved scooter while enjoying a day of outdoor conviviality.

The day's program

The event follows a well-tested itinerary that balances time on the road with social stops:

• 8:30 AM — Meeting of participants in Piazza Dante, Cortemilia, for registration and a welcome breakfast.
• 10:30 AM — Departure for the ride through the Alta Langa hills.
• 12:00 PM — Aperitif stop in Feisoglio, in the heart of the village.
• 1:30 PM — Final lunch at the Convento di Cortemilia.

A territory to discover

The rally is also an invitation to discover the Alta Langa, a land of hazelnuts, wines, and landscapes recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cortemilia, the hub of the area, is famous for its PGI Piedmont Hazelnut production, while Feisoglio is a small, lush village that preserves the authenticity of country life. Riding these roads on a Vespa means combining a passion for historic motoring with the slow pleasure of travel.
