Summer evenings bringing the center of Boves to life with music, performances, and local flavors
In just a few years, Venerdì Vibranti has become one of the most anticipated summer events in Boves, a lively town in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont. The concept is simple and successful: on select Friday evenings from late June onwards, the historic center comes alive with live music, shows, entertainment, and great food, restoring a vibrant and festive meeting place to the local community.
The festival format features a widespread program: entertainment is not concentrated in one spot but distributed across the town's squares and streets, with Piazza Italia as the beating heart of the evening. Offerings range from concerts to street performances, from play activities for the little ones to dance exhibitions, and moments of pure surprise with jugglers, trapeze artists, and magicians who enchant both adults and children.
The event was born from the commitment of the La Sporta merchants' association, in collaboration with local entities from the Cuneo area, with the support of sponsors and local businesses. The organizers' stated goal is clear: "to have a lively center again, where people meet and exchange emotions." Venerdì Vibranti represents much more than a series of concerts: it is a way to strengthen the social and commercial fabric of Boves during the hot summer evenings.
Each edition features a rotation of local bands and groups: in past seasons, the Boves stages have hosted ensembles like the Swing and Soda Band led by Corrado Leone, which combines the lightness of pop songs with orchestral sounds, involving the audience in singing and dancing. Good music remains the soul of the festival, capable of transforming a simple village evening into a participatory and highly anticipated event.
Visitors to Boves during the Venerdì Vibranti evenings will find an authentic atmosphere, far from large commercial events: a well-curated, free, and open-to-all village festival, perfect for discovering the hospitality of the Cuneo area and the most genuine side of Piedmont, amidst music, smiles, and traditional local flavors.
The 2026 edition of Venerdì Vibranti confirms the successful formula of widespread summer evenings in the center of Boves. Among the announced appointments, the one on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8:30 PM in Piazza Italia stands out, featuring a concert by the Swing and Soda Band led by Corrado Leone, concluding a day full of activities for adults and children.
The festival continues in the following weeks with more Fridays of music, street performances, and culinary offerings. The complete season calendar is communicated by the organizers of the La Sporta association. All events are free to attend.
