Promoted by the municipal administration and funded by the Regional Department of Agriculture, the festival focuses on the territory's excellent food and wine and the village's extraordinary gastronomic vocation, known for hosting one of the highest densities of restaurateurs in the world.

A village that becomes a kitchen

During the event, the historic center of Galati Mamertino transforms into a culinary trail: squares, alleys, and courtyards host stands, cooking shows, dish presentations, and tastings dedicated to the flavors of the Nebrodi. The stars are the local products—Nebrodi black pork, chestnuts, mushrooms, and hazelnuts—alongside ancient Sicilian grains and the tradition of handmade pasta.

Between haute cuisine and folk tradition

The festival weaves together moments of haute cuisine and rural culture: talk shows and debates on culinary culture, "Hands in the Dough" workshops for children, folk group performances, and live music. Previous editions have featured prominent chefs linked to the Galati area, testifying to the deep bond between the village and the art of fine dining.
