The craft beer festival in the heart of Trapani
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Trapani Beer Fest is a celebration of brewing culture in the historic center of the Sicilian capital. Set in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele—the city's main square framed by baroque buildings—the event turns the area into a vibrant beer village for three days. Dozens of stalls line the square, welcoming visitors with craft beer taps and gastronomic specialties in a festive atmosphere that blends tasting, socializing, and pure fun.
At the heart of the festival are the microbreweries and master brewers showcasing their creations, ranging from classic lagers to more experimental brews. To pair with your pint, enjoy Sicilian street food: from arancini and panelle to traditional Trapani seafood specialties and gourmet offerings from selected food trucks. The "bubbles, flavor, and music" formula is designed for a wide audience, from beer aficionados to families looking for a great night out.
Each day features a packed schedule of concerts and DJ sets. Bands and artists take to the stage for hours of entertainment, covering genres from swing and rock to disco and 80s/90s revivals. The village opens in the late afternoon, and the festivities continue until late at night, making the Beer Fest one of the most lively events of the autumn in Trapani.
Launched in 2023 by the Nerd Attack ETS association—the same team behind Trapani Comix—the festival has seen rapid growth, now drawing tens of thousands of attendees. The free entry and its prime location in the heart of the Municipality of Trapani, in the province of Trapani, Western Sicily, have made it a highly anticipated date for locals and visitors from neighboring towns alike.
The festival is also a perfect excuse to explore Trapani and its surroundings. Known as the city of salt pans, nestled between Erice and the Egadi Islands, it boasts a compact and charming historic center that comes alive during the festival. It is an ideal stop for anyone looking to combine a passion for craft beer with a weekend in the most authentic part of Sicily.
The Trapani Beer Fest 2026 does not yet have official dates. In previous years, the event took place in early October in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Trapani, with free entry. For information on the dates and program for the 2026 edition, please refer to the official announcements from the organizers.

By train: Trapani station is just a few minutes' walk from the historic center. By car: Take the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway, exit at Trapani; we recommend parking outside the center as the square area is pedestrianized. By plane: Trapani-Birgi Airport is located a short distance from the city.
