The Traditional Fish Festival (Pesciolata) is one of the most deep-rooted and beloved culinary events in Livorno Ferraris, a town in the Province of Vercelli, Piedmont, nestled in the vast rice-growing plains between the Vercelli and Canavese regions. For decades, every June, the festival brings the town to life, drawing visitors from surrounding areas for two days entirely dedicated to fish.
It is organized by the Livorno Ferraris Fishermen's Sports Association, the local group that has made this festival its signature event. A large team of volunteers works tirelessly between the kitchen and the dining area, creating an event that blends a passion for fishing, conviviality, and culinary tradition.

The 2026 edition of the Traditional Fish Festival will be held on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Nuovo Polivalente on Viale IV Novembre in Livorno Ferraris. The dates are confirmed by the Vercelli Province events calendar.

How to get there
By car: Livorno Ferraris is easily reached from the A4 Turin-Milan motorway (Santhià or Cigliano exits) and the A26. By train: the Livorno Ferraris station is on the Chivasso-Santhià line. The town is located halfway between Turin and Vercelli, and is also easily accessible from the Canavese area.
