The Borgo d'Ale Second-Hand and Small Antiques Market is a staple of the Piedmontese calendar: every third Sunday of the month, from January to December, the town of Borgo d'Ale, in the province of Vercelli, transforms into a massive open-air gallery dedicated to collecting, minor antiques, and quality second-hand goods. The fruit and vegetable market area on Viale dei Gracchi hosts over 500 stalls, spread across a large square, attracting exhibitors and visitors from all over Piedmont and neighboring regions.

The selection is intentionally diverse, catering to every type of enthusiast. Among the stands, you can discover:

The "Collezioniamo" special editions

In addition to the monthly appointments, the calendar includes two special themed editions called "Collezioniamo", specifically dedicated to collecting. For 2026, these are scheduled for May 3rd and October 4th: days designed for fans of militaria, model making, vintage toys, paper collectibles, coins, and records, featuring specialized exhibitors and even higher attendance.

Hours, admission, and atmosphere

The market is open to the public from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM, spanning the entire day. Admission is free. The atmosphere is the lively and slightly chaotic one typical of large second-hand markets: it is best to arrive with comfortable shoes and plenty of patience to explore the hundreds of stalls and haggle with the exhibitors.

A deeply rooted local event

Organized by the Municipality of Borgo d'Ale, the market has been running for many years and is now a benchmark for the antiques and second-hand trade in Piedmont. For the small town in the Vercelli area, it also represents an opportunity to promote the local territory, nestled among the hills and vineyards of the Upper Vercelli region, easily accessible from Vercelli, Biella, Ivrea, and Turin.
