A farmers' market in the heart of the Burgraviato

The Tisner Bauern- und Handwerksmarkt, or Tesimo Farmers' and Craft Market, is the weekly event that brightens the summer season in the small municipality of Tesimo (Tisens), in South Tyrol, within the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Every Wednesday morning, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, producers from the village and the sunny plateau overlooking the Adige Valley set up their stalls in the town center, transforming the square into a meeting point for those who cultivate the land and those who love authentic mountain flavors.

Products from Tyrolean mountain farms

The market showcases the very best of local agricultural production. Depending on the season, you will find:

• Fresh fruit and vegetables harvested from local orchards and gardens;
• Farm-fresh eggs and poultry products;
• Fruit juices, syrups, and homemade preserves;
• Bread and baked goods following traditional South Tyrolean recipes;
• Alpine cheeses and dairy products;
• Local handicrafts, which join the farmers' stalls on market day.

The market operates on a direct-sale basis: by purchasing here, you support small local farms and take home zero-kilometer products, often accompanied by advice and explanations from the producers themselves.

Where it takes place

The market is held at the Widumanger parking lot (P2), in the center of Tesimo, opposite the pharmacy, and is easily accessible on foot from anywhere in the village. Admission is free and the event takes place outdoors, every week throughout the summer and autumn season.
