Aradeo's child-friendly Christmas village
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Every December, the Enchanted Village: Christmas Sounds and Dreams lights up Viale Einstein in Aradeo, a small town in the province of Lecce, in the heart of Salento. For a few days, the street turns into a true Christmas village, complete with decorated cabins, lights, art installations, and Santa's house, where Santa and his elves welcome children and families in an atmosphere of joy and wonder.
The village was founded in 2018 by Fabrizio Arcuti, a local artisan and merchant who wanted to gift the town an enchanted space dedicated to childhood, filled with artistic displays, workshops, and shows. Following his untimely passing, his legacy was taken up by the #PerFabrizioPerTutti association. With the support of the Municipality of Aradeo, the Puglia Regional Council, and local merchants, they continue to fulfill Fabrizio's two dreams: to provide moments of serenity and inclusion for local children and to promote a culture of solidarity.
The event is designed primarily for families and offers activities throughout the day:
Beyond the fun, the Enchanted Village has a heart of gold. The program includes the "Sounds that save" concert, an evening of music and awareness dedicated to bone marrow donation, organized in collaboration with ADMO volunteers and aimed especially at young people. It is the most authentic expression of the project's spirit, blending celebration, inclusion, and civic commitment.
With free admission, the Enchanted Village has become one of the most anticipated Christmas events in Aradeo and surrounding towns, drawing families from across Salento and keeping the dream of sharing envisioned by Fabrizio Arcuti alive year after year.
The Enchanted Village: Christmas Sounds and Dreams is a recurring event in the Christmas calendar of Aradeo, in the province of Lecce. At the moment, the dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced, and the detailed program will be communicated by the #PerFabrizioPerTutti association in the weeks leading up to the event. We anticipate the return of the Christmas village along Viale Einstein, with workshops, shows, and family activities, as well as the charity concert dedicated to bone marrow donation.
The Village activities take place along Viale Einstein in Aradeo (LE), in the heart of Salento. The "Sounds that save" concert is typically held at Il Caffè del Teatro, also in Aradeo.
By car: Aradeo is accessible via the SS 476 and provincial roads connecting Galatone, Neviano, and Seclì; the town is about 30 km from Lecce. By train: the Aradeo station is served by Ferrovie del Sud Est on the Lecce–Gallipoli line. Nearest airport: Brindisi-Casale.
Participation in the Enchanted Village is free. Some workshops or activities may request a small donation to support solidarity initiatives.
This event is suitable for families with children; comfortable, warm clothing is recommended for the Salento winter days.
