The prince of Trentino wines on display in Mezzocorona
The Teroldego Rotaliano Exhibition is a food and wine event that every May transforms Mezzocorona, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), into the capital of the territory's signature wine. At the heart of the festival is the Teroldego Rotaliano DOC, long defined as the "prince of Trentino wines": a red with great character produced on approximately 450 hectares in the Piana Rotaliana, between the Adige and Noce rivers, and the first Trentino wine to obtain the Controlled Designation of Origin in 1971.
The heart of the event is Palazzo Martini, on Via Dante Alighieri, which hosts guided tastings, tasting counters, meetings with oenologists, and thematic workshops for three days. However, the Exhibition is not just an opportunity for tasting: it weaves wine with music, gastronomy, Trentino grappa, floriculture, and the traditions of the Rotaliana area, offering a complete portrait of a territory dedicated to quality viticulture.
The festival is promoted by the Piana Rotaliana Königsberg Tourist Consortium, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Mezzocorona, local wineries, and the support of the Trentino Wine Consortium. Now in its 35th edition in 2026, the Teroldego Rotaliano Exhibition is a fixed appointment in the Trentino oenological spring, capable of attracting enthusiasts, industry professionals, and curious visitors from all over Italy to Mezzocorona.
From May 22 to 24, 2026, Mezzocorona hosted the thirty-fifth edition of the Teroldego Rotaliano Exhibition, returning to celebrate the "prince of Trentino wines" at Palazzo Martini.
The event was organized by the Piana Rotaliana Königsberg Tourist Consortium with the Pro Loco of Mezzocorona.
Palazzo Martini, Via Dante Alighieri 4, 38016 Mezzocorona (TN), Trentino-Alto Adige. Tastings and events also take place at the Rotari Historic Winery and other venues in the village.
