The anchovy, queen of Teriasca
The Teriasca Anchovy Festival is the gastronomic event that enlivens the hamlet of Teriasca every spring, located in the hills above Sori, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. The absolute protagonist is the anchovy, a humble fish but a symbol of Ligurian cuisine, prepared in a thousand ways.
A menu of the sea and tradition
From the food stalls, open in the evenings, come fried anchovies and 'al bagnun', pesto tagliatelle, mixed fried fish, prawns and squid, grilled pork loin with fries, desserts, wines, and beers, as well as other Ligurian specialties. Accompanying the dinners, live music and dancing liven up the festival every evening until late.
The Queirolo Committee's festival
The festival is organized by the Luciano Queirolo Teriasca Committee - «Fire under the sky», which takes care of every detail of the event. To facilitate visitors' arrival, a free shuttle service is available from the Sori sports field in the Rio Cortino area. A perfect opportunity to discover the Sori hinterland and taste authentic Liguria, the one with seafood recipes passed down through generations.
Anchovy Festival — edition 2026
The 17th edition of the Anchovy Festival was held on the evenings of May 30 and 31 and June 1, 2026 in Teriasca. Every evening, from 8:00 PM, the food stalls offered fried anchovies and 'al bagnun', pesto or seafood tagliatelle, prawns and squid, grilled pork loin with fries, desserts, wines, and beers.
Musical entertainment accompanied the three evenings, organized by the Luciano Queirolo Teriasca Committee - «Fire under the sky», with a free shuttle service from the Sori sports field.

Monday, June 1
- Food stall from 8:00 PM — Armando orchestra
