Porcini mushrooms and autumn specialities in the village of Valle Stura
The Masone Mushroom Festival is one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of autumn in the Genoese hinterland. In Masone, a municipality in the Valle Stura within the metropolitan city of Genoa, the porcini mushroom becomes the absolute star of three evenings of taste and conviviality.
The stalls offer an extensive mushroom-based menu: breaded fried porcini, lasagne, polenta, and ravioli, as well as other local specialities. An opportunity to savour the products of the Ligurian woods, prepared according to traditional local recipes.
Organised by the Associazione Masone 97 together with the Pro Loco Masone, the festival combines good food with live music, in a festive atmosphere that attracts residents and visitors alike. An event that celebrates the autumn of Valle Stura, with authentic flavours and a village atmosphere.
The 2026 edition of the Masone Mushroom Festival enlivens the village from September 19 to 21 (Friday-Sunday), at the former INAPLI area in Via Pallavicini, with evening opening from 7:30 PM.
The menu is entirely dedicated to porcini mushrooms: breaded fried, lasagne, polenta, ravioli, and other specialities. Live music accompanies the evenings. The organisation is by Associazione Masone 97 with Pro Loco Masone.
Former INAPLI area, Via Pallavicini 2, Masone (GE). In September, with stands opening in the evening from 7:30 PM.
