Suono di Vino in Isera

Suono di Vino is a festival that blends chamber music with the oenological excellence of the Vallagarina valley. It takes place in Isera, an elegant wine-growing village in Trentino, within the 18th-century hall of Palazzo de Probizer, a historic residence overlooking the town center. Every Sunday afternoon at 6:00 PM, the public is invited to a sensory experience where the notes of great performers intertwine with the aromas and flavors of local wines.

Music and wine, a dialogue of the senses

The festival's formula is simple yet refined: four chamber music events, each followed by a tasting of a Vallagarina wine provided by the Casa del Vino. Music and wine enhance one another in a journey that celebrates both the chamber repertoire and the region's winemaking tradition. The intimate atmosphere of the hall, with its enveloping acoustics and limited seating, makes every concert a close and personal occasion.

A project by the Sonata Islands Association

The festival is conceived and curated by the Sonata Islands Association, under the artistic direction of flutist Emilio Galante, in collaboration with the Municipality of Isera and the Casa del Vino della Vallagarina. The program selects performers of national and international renown, ranging from classical and romantic repertoires to contemporary influences, from piano four-hands to flute and piano duos, and from Latin American sounds to 20th-century rediscoveries.

Isera and the Vallagarina

Located on the right bank of the Adige river, just a few kilometers from Rovereto, Isera is known for its vineyards and in particular for its Marzemino, celebrated even in Mozart's Don Giovanni. The festival thus offers the opportunity to discover a territory where musical culture and wine culture have coexisted for centuries, set against a charming landscape at the foot of Monte Baldo and the Trentino mountains.
