A World Tour in a Bite

The Street Food Festival of Colico is the street food celebration of the upper Lario region. It takes place in Colico, in the province of Lecco, along the picturesque lakefront and in Piazza Garibaldi, overlooking the northern tip of Lake Como. For four days, the heart of the town transforms into a large gastronomic village, where you can taste flavors from every corner of the globe.

International Flavors and Tradition

The offering is rich and varied. On the international front, you'll find Spanish paella, Greek souvlaki, Indian specialties, Chinese dumplings, and Mexican dishes, with some curiosities like kangaroo burgers and Hungarian cannoli. Italian tradition is also present: from Umbrian grilled meats to Valtellina's pizzoccheri and sciatt, from traditional Bergamo bread to Sicilian delicacies, as well as barbecue ribs, pulled pork, and desserts like chocolate waffles. To complete the experience, there are cocktails, craft beers, and international selections.

On the Lake Como Front

The setting for the event is the Colico lakefront, one of the most scenic stretches of the upper Lake Como. With structures and tables set up along the path, visitors can dine with a view of the water and mountains, in a relaxed and festive atmosphere that is the event's true added value.
