The Giudicarie Street Food Festival
In the heart of Tione di Trento, the main town of the Giudicarie Valleys in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), the Street Food Festival — also known as the Food Truck Festival — transforms Piazza Cesare Battisti into a vibrant open-air culinary village for a few days. It is a dedicated street food gathering that attracts families, young people, and food enthusiasts every year, all looking for great food and a festive atmosphere in the town center.
Food trucks from across Italy and global flavors
The format follows the classic style of major food truck rallies: a square bustling with converted vans and gourmet stalls offering Italian regional specialties and international dishes. Past events have featured Abruzzese lamb arrosticini, Pugliese bombette, Romagna piadina, Sicilian cannoli and arancini, Argentine grilled meats, and Greek pita gyros and dolmades, alongside burgers, fried treats, desserts, and craft beer. There is something for every taste and dietary requirement.
Music, entertainment, and free entry
Beyond the culinary offerings, the Food Truck Festival features live music and entertainment that set the mood throughout the days and evenings, creating a convivial atmosphere perfect for friends and families. Admission is free: you only pay for what you choose to eat and drink at the various vendors.
An event by the Pro Loco to enliven Tione's center
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Tione di Trento with the goal of enlivening the town center and providing a space for people to meet and discover diverse flavors. Previous editions have taken place between late June and early July (in 2022 from July 1st to 3rd, in 2023 and 2024 at the end of June, and in 2025 from June 13th to 15th), cementing the festival as one of the most anticipated gastronomic highlights of the Tione summer. The venue remains Piazza Cesare Battisti, in the heart of Tione, which is easily accessible and located right in the center of the Giudicarie capital.
Tione Food Truck Festival — edition 2026
The dates for the 2026 edition of the Tione di Trento Food Truck Festival have not yet been officially announced. Based on previous editions, the street food and food truck gathering in Piazza Cesare Battisti is expected to take place during the summer, likely in June. The detailed program — including the list of food trucks, culinary offerings, music, and entertainment — will be announced by the Pro Loco of Tione di Trento closer to the event.
