Spring in the smallest village in Veneto
Laghi, with its few inhabitants, is the least populated municipality in Veneto: a tiny village in the Alto Astico, in the province of Vicenza, nestled around a small lake in the Val di Ferro. Here, the Spring Festival, organized by the Pro Loco Laghi, marks the awakening of the mountains each year with a weekend of nature, gastronomy, and music on the lake shore.
Nature, wild herbs, and trekking
The heart of the festival is the connection with the territory: a guided walk to find wild herbs, followed by tastings, and a guided 8 km trek with departures in the morning and afternoon. On Sunday, the market offers local agricultural products, flowers, and seeds, while for children there are donkey rides and traditional games.
Laghi Gnocchi and Music
On the gastronomic front, the iconic Laghi gnocchi are the stars, served with craft beers. The food stand opens on Saturday evening and then from Sunday morning. Evenings are enlivened by DJ sets, while Sunday afternoon features live music. A simple and genuine festival, perfect for discovering a secret corner of the Vicenza region and the hospitality of a small mountain community.
Spring Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Spring Festival enlivens the village of Laghi on April 18 and 19, on the lake shores. Two days dedicated to nature, flavors, and music, with a new exhibition area overlooking the water.
Programme Spring Festival 2026
Saturday, April 18
- Guided walk to find wild herbs, followed by tastings
- 7:00 PM — Opening of the food stand and craft beers
- 9:00 PM — Evening with DJ set
Sunday, April 19
- 9:00 AM — Opening of the market with local agricultural products, flowers, and seeds
- 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM — Departures for the guided 8 km trek (participation fee applies)
- Donkey rides for children, cooking workshops, and traditional games
- 11:00 AM — Food stand with the famous Laghi gnocchi and craft beers
- 3:00 PM — Live music

How to get there
By car from Vicenza towards Schio and Alto Astico, heading towards Arsiero and Laghi. The road to the village is mountainous: allow adequate time.
