The Trinità motorcycle rally in the heart of the Saint George Patronal Feast
The Spring Burnout is the annual motorcycle rally that draws hundreds of two-wheel enthusiasts from across Piedmont and beyond to Trinità, in the Province of Cuneo. The event is a highlight of the Saint George Patronal Feast, the town's most cherished celebration, bringing the streets to life with the roar of engines and the joy of a community in celebration.
The day kicks off early in Piazza Umberto I, the heart of Trinità, where registration opens and riders, vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, and curious onlookers gather. Following the meet-up, the convoy sets off on a 60-kilometer motorcycle tour that winds through the Cuneo countryside and climbs into the Langhe hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site and land of great wines. The route includes an aperitif stop at a renowned local winery—a moment of conviviality nestled among the vineyards—before returning to Trinità.
Upon returning from the ride, participants gather for a convivial lunch held in the municipal gym on Via Campi, an opportunity to share a meal and recount the morning's adventures. It is precisely this spirit of hospitality and grassroots celebration that distinguishes the Spring Burnout from larger rallies: here, the atmosphere remains intimate, warm, and family-oriented.
The rally is carefully organized by the Pro Loco of Trinità, an association that has been enlivening the town for years with festivals, events, and charity initiatives. Starting as a small project by a group of enthusiasts, the Spring Burnout has grown with each edition to become a staple of the April 25th long weekend, standing alongside tournaments, markets, funfairs, and historical commemorations.
Nestled in the plains between Fossano and Mondovì, Trinità is a town in southern Piedmont deeply connected to its rural and religious traditions. The Saint George Patronal Feast, spread over several days, turns the town into a meeting point for the surrounding area: the Spring Burnout represents its most dynamic and modern side, attracting a younger crowd while showcasing the Cuneo region and its exceptional food and wine.
