The street food village on wheels in Rocca Rangoni Park
The Spilamberto Street Food Festival is the event dedicated to street food that enlivens the Rocca Rangoni Park, in the heart of Spilamberto, a municipality in the province of Modena in Emilia-Romagna. For an entire weekend, the park transforms into an open-air food village, where Italy's best travelling kitchens meet to showcase flavours, aromas, and recipes from every region.
The festival brings together more than ten food trucks selected by bOOm Eventi, a company active for over ten years in organising national food & beverage events. The gastronomic offer ranges from regional specialties to international cuisines, reinterpreted with a gourmet touch or prepared in full respect of tradition. The food & drink area is open for both lunch and dinner, allowing you to experience the event at any time of the day.
Alongside the food and wine offerings, the programme features live music, artistic performances, and entertainment, in true street festival style. Several music points with different genres liven up the gastronomic area, creating a convivial and relaxed atmosphere in which to savour dishes between performances. It's a formula designed to engage families, groups of friends, and the curious of all ages.
The venue for the event is the Rocca Rangoni Park, a green space surrounding the ancient town fortress, which is one of the most beloved places for events and gatherings in Spilamberto. Its location, a short walk from the historic centre, makes it easy to combine a visit to the festival with a stroll through the town's streets, also known throughout Emilia-Romagna for its connection to traditional balsamic vinegar.
Access to the festival is completely free: you only pay for what you choose to eat and drink at the various kitchens. This free entry policy, combined with the variety of offerings and the green park setting, makes the Spilamberto Street Food Festival one of the most enjoyable opportunities to discover street food culture in the Modena area of Terre di Castelli.
