Two days of hamlet festival in Piazza Toscanini, Pozza di Maranello
Pozza in Piazza is the festival that every year, in September, enlivens the hamlet of Pozza, one of the historic locations in the Municipality of Maranello, in the Province of Modena. The village is located along the Via Claudia, about two kilometers from the center of Maranello in the direction of Vignola, and for an entire weekend, it rediscovers its natural meeting point in Piazza Arturo Toscanini, which transforms into a large open-air living room with tables, music, and conviviality.
Maranello is known worldwide for the Prancing Horse and the culture of engines, but its territory also thrives on a dense network of village festivals and community events. Pozza in Piazza belongs precisely to this tradition: it is the festival of the local people, organized in collaboration with the hamlet's associations and with the support of the Municipality. Not a tourist event created artificially, but an authentic moment when the square becomes the center of the village's social life again.
The atmosphere is typical of late summer Emilian festivals, where good food is the protagonist. Among the moments that characterize this two-day event:
The festival is traditionally held in September, on a weekend between Saturday and Sunday. In 2025, it took place on Saturday, September 20th, and Sunday, September 21st, coinciding with the automotive events that liven up Maranello during that period. For 2026, the official calendar of the Municipality indicates the dates of September 19th and 20th.
For those visiting Maranello and Emilia-Romagna in September, Pozza in Piazza is an opportunity to discover the most genuine and hospitable face of this corner of the Province of Modena, far from the most touristy circuits and immersed in the authentic conviviality of a village festival.
The 2026 edition of Pozza in Piazza will be held on Saturday, September 19th, and Sunday, September 20th, 2026, in Piazza Arturo Toscanini, in the heart of the hamlet of Pozza di Maranello (MO). The dates appear in the calendar of main events for 2026 published by the Municipality of Maranello.
Currently, the detailed program has not yet been released. Based on previous editions, the two-day event should offer the established formula of the hamlet festival: food stalls with the flavors of Emilian tradition, live evening music, markets, stalls, and entertainment for families. The complete program, with times and details, will be announced by the Municipality and the hamlet's associations in the weeks leading up to the event.
