A widespread summer in the heart of the Bolognese Apennines
Voglia d'Estate is not a single event but an entire season of appointments that, from June to September, transforms Savigno - a hamlet of the Municipality of Valsamoggia, in the province of Bologna - into a widespread stage for taste and conviviality. The event is coordinated by Pro Loco Savigno APS and stems from the collaboration between local associations, clubs, and traders, who each week offer a different event to enjoy the warm summer evenings of the Apennines.
What to expect
The program is designed to combine Emilian gastronomic tradition with moments of music and entertainment. Among the recurring offerings of the event, you will find:
- Food and wine evenings with typical local flavors, from tigelle to borlenghi, from crescentine to fried foods;
- Aperitifs and themed dinners offered by local clubs and restaurateurs;
- Tastings of local products, in a land famous for its white truffle;
- Walks, markets, and open-air cinema;
- Concerts, shows, and entertainment for children.
The Thursday ritual
The pulsating heart of the event are the traditional Thursday evenings at the Centro Sociale Le Nonne APS, in Via Guglielmo Marconi 22, with the "Fritti e Tigelle" (Fried foods and Tigelle) event accompanied by live music and entertainment for children. These are joined by weekly events dedicated to crescentine, borlenghi, and sparkling wines, as well as pizza evenings offered by local businesses.
Savigno, capital of truffles
Savigno is known throughout Emilia-Romagna as one of the villages of the prized white truffle, to which it dedicates the famous International White Truffle Festival (Tartòfla) in autumn. Voglia d'Estate represents the summer and more informal face of this gastronomic vocation: an opportunity to discover the village, its hills, and its cuisine in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, far from the crowds of major events.

The 2026 season of Voglia d'Estate opens on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with the anticipated "Fritti e Tigelle" evening at the Centro Sociale Le Nonne APS in Savigno. From that date and throughout the summer, until September, the village in the Samoggia Valley hosts a packed calendar of evenings dedicated to good food, music, and conviviality. From June to September 2026 — Weekly Events
The event continues with the usual structure of recurring evenings coordinated by Pro Loco Savigno and local businesses:
- Thursdays — "Fritti e Tigelle" at Centro Le Nonne, with live music and entertainment for children;
- Evenings dedicated to crescentine, borlenghi, and sparkling wines;
- Pizza-based evenings at local businesses;

By car: from Bologna, reach Savigno via the SP27 towards the Samoggia Valley, about 40 km. By train: the nearest stations are Bazzano or Bologna Centrale, with onward travel by bus or car towards the Apennines.
