About Silvi International Beach Tennis
The International Beach Tennis Tournament in Silvi Marina
Every year in early June, the beach of Silvi Marina, in the municipality of Silvi (Teramo), becomes the beating heart of national and international beach tennis. The Silvi Marina International Beach Tennis, organized by the ASD ACE sports club, has become a staple of the Abruzzo calendar: a key stage of the ITF international circuit, enriched by FITP federal events dedicated to both professional athletes and young talents.
The Tournament and Categories
The event spans several days and categories. The BT10 tournaments kick off the program with younger pairs competing to earn their first international ranking points. Over the weekend, the prestigious BT50 takes center stage, with dozens of pairs vying for valuable ITF world-ranking points. The program is rounded out by side events such as the FITP Next Generation Cup and Open competitions, open to the wider Italian beach tennis community.
An Event Growing Year After Year
Born from the deep-rooted tradition of beach tennis in Abruzzo, the Silvi event has seen a steady increase in both athletes and spectators with each edition. Several champions who have graced its courts now hold top positions in the world rankings, a testament to the high competitive level achieved. The event is supported by the Municipality of Silvi and the main sponsor, DISI Impianti.
More Than Just Sport
Beyond the matches, the Silvi Marina International is a celebration for the whole family. Along the arena, right on the beach, you will find food stalls and dining areas serving arrosticini, sandwiches, street food, drinks, and entertainment. It is an atmosphere of sport and conviviality that enlivens the Teramo Adriatic coast every June, drawing crowds from across the Abruzzo region.

2026 Edition — The Fourth
The fourth edition of the Silvi Marina International Beach Tennis was held from June 4th to 7th, 2026, in Piazza dei Pini, which was transformed into the beating heart of national beach tennis. The program opened with two BT10 tournaments on June 4th and 5th, featuring about twenty young pairs, followed over the weekend by the BT50 with around thirty pairs competing for ITF points.
The Winners
In the Men's BT50, Emiliano Zapparata and Federico Caroli confirmed their status as champions for the second consecutive year. In the Women's category, Maddalena Cini and Emma Mussetti claimed the title after overcoming Marika Colonna and Alice Grandi in a super tie-break. In the men's consolation bracket, success went to the local pair Matteo Centorame and Vincenzo Olivieri.
With over seventy pairs and more than a thousand spectators, the 2026 edition, supported by the Municipality of Silvi and sponsor DISI Impianti, is remembered as one of the most well-attended ever.

Getting There
Silvi Marina is located on the Adriatic coast in the province of Teramo. By car: A14 motorway, exit at Pineto-Atri or Pescara Nord. By train: Silvi station on the Bologna-Bari Adriatic line, just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
Admission
Access to the event area and viewing the matches is generally free. Food areas and stalls are available on-site.
