In the Municipality of Castilenti, an ancient village nestled on the eastern hills of the Gran Sasso d'Italia in the Province of Teramo, the historic center dresses up for the holidays and becomes a true Santa's Village for an entire weekend. The event, organized with passion by the Pro Loco of Castilenti APS, attracts visitors from neighboring towns and the entire Vestina area thanks to a rich program suitable for all ages.

Santa's House and the village

The heart of the event is the wonderful Santa's House, where children can deliver their letters and experience the magic of anticipation. Along the village alleys, you will encounter bagpipers, stilt walkers, and costumed characters who bring the walk to life, while games and workshops keep the little ones entertained. The children's letter initiative, dedicated to the theme of "a better world," has accompanied the event for years with a message of solidarity.

Crafts, flavors, and traditions

Along the streets of the historic center, you will find artisan stalls with gift ideas, decorations, and handmade products, accompanied by food stalls offering traditional Abruzzese Christmas specialties.
